Terms & Conditions for Wrights Hot Springs Spa Prize Giveaway
1. Eligibility: The Wrights Hot Springs Spa Prize Giveaway (“The Giveaway”) is open to legal residents of New Zealand who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, and directors of Hughes Development t/a Faringdon, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their same household are not eligible to participate.
2. Entry Period: The Giveaway entry period begins at 12pm New Zealand Standard Time on 27th May 2023 and ends at 3:30PM New Zealand Standard Time on 27th May 2023.
3. How to Enter: To enter the Giveaway, participants must fill in the entry forms provided at the Faringdon Show Home Village Launch Day during the Entry Period and complete the entry form with their full name, email address, and phone number. These are to be placed in the boxes provided at the Show Homes and will be collected by the Faringdon team at 3:30pm to select a winner.
4. Winner Selection: One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period between 3:30pm & 4pm on the day of the Show Home Village Launch. The winner will be announced on the day and will also be notified by email or phone within three (3) business days of the selection. If the prize is not collected within 2 weeks of the draw, Hughes Development t/a Faringdon will draw a new winner from the entry pool and they will be notified.
5. Prize: The prize for the Giveaway is one (1) Wrights Hot Springs Spa with a retail value of $16,990.00 NZ RRP - HotSpot SX in Pearl Almond. The prize is non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents will be allowed except at the discretion of Hughes Development t/a Faringdon. The winner is responsible for all taxes, fees, and any other expenses associated with the prize. The winner is also responsible for collection of the prize - delivery of the prize must be agreed if required with Wrights Hot Springs Spas and will be charged to the winner.
6. Release and Indemnification: By entering the Giveaway, participants agree to release and hold harmless Hughes Development t/a Faringdon, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever arising from their participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize.
7. Publicity: The winner agrees to permit Hughes Development t/a Faringdon & Wrights Hot Springs Spas (prize provider) to use their name, photograph, likeness, and any statements they make regarding the Giveaway in any media, without further compensation or notice, for any purpose related to the Giveaway or Hughes Development t/a Faringdon and Wrights Hot Springs Spas media use as required.
8. Disqualification: Hughes Development t/a Faringdon reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms & Conditions or acts in an inappropriate or disruptive manner.
9. Governing Law: The Giveaway and these Terms & Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
10. General: These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participants and Hughes Development t/a Faringdon with respect to the Giveaway. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Hughes Development t/a Faringdon’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
11. Promoter: The Giveaway is promoted by Hughes Development t/a Faringdon, located at 21 Worcester Boulevard, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8013.
By participating in the Hot Springs Spa Prize Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
